“You and I, we meet as strangers, each carrying a mystery within us. I cannot say who you are. I may never know you completely. But I trust that you are a person in your own right, possessed of a beauty and value that are the Earth’s richest treasures. So I make this promise to you: I will impose no identities upon you, but will invite you to become yourself without shame or fear. I will hold open a space for you in the world and allow your right to fill it with an authentic vocation and purpose. For as long as your search takes, you have my loyalty.”

(Theodore Roszak)

A few years ago, while I was going through a challenging period in my life, I decided to attend a psychedelic retreat. At that point I had been a therapist for close to 10 years and I was beginning to see the limits of traditional psychotherapy. Like many people, I reached for a psychedelic substance, because I was curious and I was hoping for a breakthrough.

My search for answers turned into an exploration of the healing potential of psychedelics. Not only has my personal life transformed, but I have also gained valuable experiential knowledge that enriched my work as a therapist. I learned from many gifted healers along the way, some of them born into traditions that allowed for legal use of psychedelic plants. I also worked at a psilocybin retreat center, and created a ketamine assisted therapy program.

All these experiences have inspired my commitment to supporting those who embark on the path of psychedelic healing. I have witnessed the power of these medicines and the challenges that can arise when this work is not done with reverence.

Whether you are contemplating the use of hallucinogens or you already had a few experiences, I am here to educate and support. We can talk about the safe use and potential risks. We may also explore any insights and emotions that arise after your experiences.

The tools I may use while working with you include: mindfulness meditation, guided imagery and therapeutic writing. I also incorporate techniques derived from internal family systems, transpersonal therapy and somatic processing. I will encourage you to connect with your body and explore the parts of you that you may have lost touch with. You will also receive practical strategies you can implement in your daily life to support your growth.

I have extensive experience with treating trauma, addictions, depression and anxiety. I believe that healing is a process of integration and your symptoms are a sign of misalignment. I can help you explore how to restore your wholeness and become the person you were meant to be.
